Five-O

Because Dwayne called me that he planed to have Christmas BBQ party, I went to Rey’s house. During I stayed there, however, he did not show up due to overtime work as usual. His friends love cars and motor bikes, and they are always talking about cars and parts of car, which I’m not interested inat all. One good point last night was that I learned one slung. That’s “five-O”, meaning police. When I almost said “I bought….”, Tico misheard as “Five-O”. I heard that this word came from classic TV drama, “Hawaii Five-O”. But how come Tico was so sensitive to this word?
