Generation gap?

3 undergrad students in my laboratory in Tokyo came to Hawaii, then I turned into tour guide as usual, and guided them several places. This time, however, I also learned what pleased Japanese young women as the tour destination in Hawaii. When we passed Kailua town, they yelled out with pleasure. It seemed to be ten times larger than those at the time when I guided Tantalus lookout and Kailua beach. What? What’s happen? What you guys found?
That was ice cream shop, “Cold Stone Creamery (http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/main/index.asp).” I heard that one chain store opened at Roppongi Hills complex in Tokyo, last autumn. And people made a line to eat ice cream at most 4 hours! FOUR HOURS? To just eat ice cream??? Gosh. That’s record time, but usually they need to wait 1 or 2 hours at lunch time. OK, I put this shop in my list as tour guide in Hawaii.
